She also completed the Schwarzcopf hands-on program. Laurie’s skills do not stop with hair, however; she is also trained in Human Hair Extensions and is an Eyelash Extension Specialist.

She graduated in 2008 from the Permanent Makeup of Atlanta after training with a pioneer in, Permanent Makeup, Cheryl Rosenblum. She worked as a Permanent Makeup Artist and Master Stylist for the world renowned, Dr. Gross of Lake Mary, FL before opening her own hair salon, Shear Designs in 2011 but later renamed Shear Designs to better reflect her as a Permanent Makeup Artist and Microblading Specialist. She holds a tattoo License in Florida. She teaches the Art or Permanent Makeup and Microblading at Blue Violet Salon and Spa.
