Dr. Laritssa Palacio Cobian, MD

Dr. Cobian, a board-certified pediatrician, earned her medical degree from UNPHU School of Medicine in the Dominican Republic. She completed her residency in pediatrics at Nassau University Medical Center in Long Island, NY, and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Cobian is happily married with two children and enjoys spending time with them when not practicing medicine. For Dr. Cobian, motherhood is a vital key in providing a sense of empathy to her patients. “As a mother, I feel better able to listen and understand all the questions parents have about the development of their child or the stress they feel when their child is ill,” she says.
